Description
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Meet Erinus! (No, I’m not just talking about the flower in the background) Don’t be fooled by the man’s armor; he’s not a member of the Thieves Guild, but a ranger who keeps the forests around Falkreath free of ‘Evil and Co.’ I’ve taken the liberty to change the armor a little here and there to distinguish it from Thieves Guild armor, make it a little more ranger-ish without changing the looks entirely. I hope you'll like it!
Personal ramble:
Erinus belongs to Erinus20 and he deserves a medal for his patience. (I started on this gift-illustration in December 2014.) Late November, a package arrived with not 1 but 5 amazing gifts; 3 of his gorgeous hand-carved wooden boxes, a Septim coin and a heart-warming, handwritten note that instantly restored my faith in humanity. (and trust me, it was very low at that particular moment in time so if you believe in miracles you can add that one to your list) Check out his gallery to see more of this gorgeous atmospheric photography!
Technical ramble:
This really is the largest canvas I have ever worked with. The original illustration is 105x70 cm according to Photoshop and my pen nibs agree with that because I’ve used up a whole nib on this painting. (which can also be explained that I am still an absolute Photoshop-noob) Chris told me his Skyrim character was basically ‘Chris in Skyrim’ so I’ve used these screenshots as well as a photograph for reference.
